  • Work in collaboration and consultation with Aboriginal people, organisations and Elders, Manningham City Council, local schools, community groups and other reconciliation groups

  • Develop programs, events and services that directly involve, support and include Aboriginal people.

Our Partners

Reconciliation Manningham has worked closely with the Wurundjeri-Woiwurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation over the past 25 years in staging cultural and educational events to celebrate our rich Aboriginal history and heritage.

Reconciliation Victoria works at both the local community and state levels, supporting local reconciliation groups like Reconciliation Manningham, and engages with the Victorian Government and state peak bodies on policy and systemic change.

Mullum Mullum Indigenous Gathering Place (MMIGP) is a community-controlled Aboriginal organisation based in the eastern Melbourne.  MMIGP provides a culturally-safe and inclusive space for Aboriginal people to come together to feel connected and empowered. We have supported MMIGP with their advocacy endeavours and the promotion of their public events. We have also consulted with their officers and affiliated Elders on various historical and community projects.

Manningham City Council is the local government authority where we are based in. With Reconciliation Manningham as a key community partner, Manningham City Council won the 2011 National Award for Local Government in the category ‘Promoting Reconciliation’.
